Brightens Cold Months with Gold Foliage
Why Forever Goldie Arborvitae Trees?
The Forever Goldie’s natural hue is tinged with light yellow. Basically, it brings gleaming gold to cold. So, if you re looking for an arborvitae that delivers glowing foliage in the summer and winter, look no further. The Forever Goldie is a beacon of brightness in cold, gloomy weather.
The Forever Goldie lends an interesting touch to traditional borders. The Goldie is a colorful solution to block out neighbors and the sounds and lights of nearby traffic. Fully grown, it will reach 12 feet tall and widens to only 3 feet, so you won’t need a lot of yard space to create a tall living fence along your property line.
It offers light, feathery foliage and fast growth without the clean-up or upkeep. This well-behaved tree doesn’t shed, so you’ll get maximum visual interest, all year round. The arborvitae’s soft foliage and upright, pyramidal stature can stand strong and elegant on your property.
Plus, it couldn t be hardier. The durable Forever Goldy is resistant to drought, cold weather, and deer. If you need a tree that can stay healthy without the fuss, season after season, this is the arborvitae for you.
Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better
Not only will you save money while increasing the value of your property…you ll also get the promise of year-over-year success.
Some nurseries dig Arborvitaes out of the ground and send them bare-rooted, causing them to lose up to a year of growth and rely on a weaker root system.
But you can be assured that when you order your Forever Goldie from Fast Growing Trees, you are getting well-rooted trees ready for explosive growth. Your tree offers more developed branching for ready-made privacy in your landscape.
Order soon! These Arborvitaes tend to sell out quickly, especially since they re so hard to find at most nurseries. Don t wait…get your Forever Goldie today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: This tree does best in full sun to partial shade (about 3 to 6 hours of sunlight daily). It will do better in a somewhat sheltered location.
Once you ve selected your location, dig a hole that s large enough to accommodate your tree s root ball, backfill your soil, and mulch around the area. Finally, water to settle your tree s roots.
If you re planting in a container, select a pot that s about twice the size of your tree s shipped container, use organic soil mix, and place in a location with proper sunlight.
2. Watering: For the first couple of years, keep the soil well-watered. Once the roots are established, it can tolerate some degree of drier conditions as long as you have mulched it well.
If you re not sure when to water, simply check your tree s surrounding soil about 3 inches down for dryness.
3. Fertilizing: Use a general-purpose 10-10-10 fertilizer in spring and follow label instructions.
4. Pruning: This relatively low maintenance tree doesn’t require much pruning, but if necessary for shaping, limit trimming to new growth of the current season. You can remove any dead or damaged branches throughout the year.
