Easy-Care and Bold Foliage, All Indoors
Why Freddie Plants?
Long, narrow leaves with variegated green color and texture: The Freddie Plant is made for an eye-catching look in any indoor area. Each Freddie Plant is a living work of art, and the best part is that it’s super easy to maintain.
Especially since the Freddie has a moderate, manageable growth rate. This means you can place your Freddie, also known as Calathea, everywhere from tabletops to bare corners on the floor, where it purifies the air and acts as a fresh focal point. So, you’ll get tropical-inspired foliage in every space, all without effort since the Calathea just needs humidity and low light to thrive.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Start by choosing a proper location for your Freddie Plant. An area with medium to low light is ideal (not directly in front of a window but somewhere nearby). Also, an area with abundant humidity, like a bathroom or kitchen, is ideal for Freddie. Once you’ve selected your location, plant your Freddie in a container that’s approximately two times the width of its shipped container.
2. Watering: The Freddie is relatively forgiving of dry conditions, but it’s important to moisten your plant regularly. Water your Freddie about twice weekly by misting it with a spray bottle. If you’re not sure when to mist, simply check its soil about 2 inches down – if the soil is dried out, it’s time to moisten your plant.
3. Fertilizing: You can feed your Freddie Plant once a month during the growing season, April to August, with a liquid house plant fertilizer to encourage growth.
