Soft Rose Red Flecks on Larger Blooms

Why Snowcicle Hydrangea Shrubs?

Creamy panicles of flowers with soft rose and green pops define the Snowcicle Hydrangea Shrub, a new variety of oakleaf hydrangea that s unlike any other currently on the market. Because each bloom is gracefully suspended on strong stems, you get blooms like never before.

Despite its compact size, the Snowcicle delivers huge color. It even delights in the fall with deep wine and burnt orange color.

And compared to other double-flowered varieties, the Snowcicle has bigger, sturdier branches and better color than ever before. From foundation plantings to accents in your garden or mass borders along your driveway and sidewalk, the Snowcicle imparts unbelievable texture and tone.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: When it’s time to plant your Snowcicle, choose an area with at least 6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day and well-drained soil. Then, dig a hole that’s at least two to three times wider than the root ball, place the tree, backfill its soil, and lastly, water to help establish its roots.

2. Watering: Typically, you should water your Snowcicle Hydrangea thoroughly about once a week. If you’re not sure when to water, simply check the surrounding soil, down to around 2 or 3 inches. If the soil is dry, it’s time to water.

3. Pruning: Pruning is not necessary, but if you’d like to shape your Snowcicle Oakleaf Hydrangea, prune in late winter or early spring.

4. Fertilizer: Apply a well-balanced, time-released fertilizer once or twice in the summer.
